Escape from the city - A day out at Devil's Dyke

Devil's Dyke is an historic beauty spot on the South Downs Way with amazing views north to the Weald and south to the Channel. Folklore has it that the dyke was created by the devil himself in an attempt to flood and destroy the Weald and its inhabitants but a more realistic explanation is that it was formed naturally during the Ice Age!
